About the Workshop

Are you new to Singapore Math Strategies? Have you been using Singapore Math Curriculum such as Primary Math and Math in Focus, and have difficulty implementing the strategies successfully in your classrooms?

The Concrete-Pictorial-Abstract approach is synonymous with Singapore Math, but how do we implement this effectively in our classrooms?

Through practical and effective strategies, this workshop focuses on students’ goals and how the Singapore approach can be used to support teachers and students in classrooms.

Refund Policy: No refunds will be made for a workshop unless your cancellation is received at least fourteen days before the workshop begins. Lexington Singapore School reserves the right to cancel workshops, at which time all money paid by the applicant will be refunded.


About the Presenter

karhwee

Kar Hwee Koh, Ed. M.,  has been teaching Singapore Math® in premier schools in Singapore before relocating to Lexington, MA. She has extensive experience as a Math Coach to new teachers, and is well versed in areas of problem solving heuristics, early algebraic thinking and lesson study. Kar Hwee is also an active speaker. Besides conducting workshops in the greater Boston area, she has been invited to speak at the TR@TC Singapore Math workshop at Columbia University for the past two years.
