Summer Singapore Math Classes

We offer both in-person and remote online formats.

These classes focus on Problem-Solving and promotes critical thinking through solving unfamiliar problems.

Can You Solve This?

This is a typical problem 3rd grade students will encounter in the summer program. Instead of using abstract algebra, we use a heuristic call Bar-Modeling to help the students visualize and break down the problem into parts that are more accessible. Building on this success, 5th and 6th graders solves the same problem with system of linear equations.

I love how thorough the program is — grade level standard work, challenge work, and then problem solving questions. My child feels a lot more confident in math class at school because of her Singapore math class.

Parent

We like the balance of curriculum and problem solving, the amount of homework is perfect, teachers are excellent, the Singapore Math curriculum complements the local curriculum well, smaller class size is very good. Also, Kar Hwee cares a lot and gets to know the students personally; that makes a big difference as well. Thank you!
